"Become skilled and see the true value of your hard earned wealth. Don't waste it by spending it on things that bring more suffering to you. To bank the money you have safely means to bank it in the act of giving and for use it for doing good deeds. Bank your wealth without any fear or doubt in the bank called 'giving and generosity'."*

* The Lord Buddha has said to lay people to keep 1/4 of their wealth for their everyday needs (including giving and good deeds), 2/4 for one's prosperity, work needs, investments and businesses and 1/4 saved for emergencies. With this in mind, giving the most within one's means is very good.
